Sorry I did not research the auto start installation. I have a manual tranny and my alarm did not come with it.
• The two brown wires are to disable start if alarm is not deactivated properly.
• The relay is to incorporate the turbo timer, to allow the car to idle and alarm to set.
I tried to find the spec sheet for the studs someone posted. One should have come with your.

Yes, you can get it to power up without being installed:
+12V = Red
Gnd = Black, Brown
I've even done it with a 9v battery on a safr and a neo.
