I have 89+ JDM tails on my car and they seem to fit perfectly...maybe your rubber end gaskets have just shrunken with age? I know my tails took a bit of coaxing to get them to sit perfectly...a couple taps with an open palm in the right spots seemed to do the trick for me. :)
I just saw a Rover SD1 for sale locally here...apparently it's one of the couple hundred that were imported...it had US-spec headlamps. Not something you see every day in the US lol.
Same thing happened to the metal tube that goes to the heater core in my car...it is VERY easy to bend it...I was lucky and was able to carefully bend it back into shape. I'm not sure, but I think that is part of the heater core and will be replaced when you decide to do the entire job.
I don't even know how to respond to this thread...
Giving up your home for a fucking CAR is the stupidest thing i've ever heard. Honestly. Get your life in order now! There will be PLENTY of time for your car later on.
Wow, um...then the only things it could be are the Valve itself or the ECU...that is, of course if you aren't throwing any codes.
Test your ISC valve:

Yea, if you have no working AC system, then I don't think that test...
