The early report from the dyno with Stinger....

I don't know when I'll step up to a standalone but you just reminded me I still need to buy cams in the future. God damnit... Oh, nice numbers. 440@13 is kickin ass. :D

I'm aware how hp is calculated but what numbers were you using to come up with 269?

Anyone on here know what "kicking" the clutch means?

Pay attention He mentions using clutch kicking during a drift to RE-engage the drift. I like how you took the ONE part where he says 'but it works' when the context of the statement is directly referenced AFTER his statement about drifting. Reading comprehension skills are fundamental... If...

Anyone on here know what "kicking" the clutch means?

I'm not going to keep beating around the bush with you. I tried it and it didn't do shit for me except abuse my transmission. I did not ride the clutch anytime at all. You are seriously full of shit if you think you aren't doing any harm to your drivetrain. Just because something hasn't...

Zangetsu's Bankai: '92 Supra Twin Turbo

Still no turbos... They were supposed to be back in my hands last Friday. Now I'm being told they won't be ready until this friday... We'll see. :/ That's alright, I guess. I'm not in a rush this time. I just need the damn turbos back so I can have my oil feed and return setups done. I have...

Anyone on here know what "kicking" the clutch means?

I'll tell you something. I just went out for some Mcdonald's and while I Was out there I tried your little clutch kicking again just to humor you. I did it at different RPMs just for good measure. And just so you know, I currently have stock twins on, not my K26/27 turbos. What happened was...

Anyone on here know what "kicking" the clutch means?

I have upgraded twins. Thanks. I know what it's like to stab the throttle at low RPM with turbos that won't hit full boost until the 4500 range. Kicking the clutch isn't going to spool them any faster.

Anyone on here know what "kicking" the clutch means?

I don't know about your car but when I'm not at WOT it sounds pretty passive. As soon as I hit the gas the volume goes up to 'wild' instantly. I watched that 2nd video now too. He kicks the clutch on the Suzuki and breaks traction. I hear a lot of noise but the car doesn't look to accelerate...

Anyone on here know what "kicking" the clutch means?

Ok... That is not what you have been explaining. 1. He was already at WOT(building boost and spooling if that was turbo) before he kicked the clutch. I don't see what the point of him kicking the clutch was. He just took load off the motor for a short second. 2. He was clearly in a higher...

Anyone on here know what "kicking" the clutch means?

Kicking the clutch is not going to spool your turbo any quicker... It just isn't. You're not putting any load on the engine with the clutch depressed. When you let the clutch out, sure you will be loading the engine to build boost then but you could have been doing so by just putting your foot...

Anyone on here know what "kicking" the clutch means?

Ah, so finally we're down to the nitty gritty and you are admitting kicking the clutch has zero to do with the turbo, actually. So why is it then that when Virgogasm asked what he can do to decrease lag you mentioned that he should kick the clutch? Maybe your clutch kick will get your RPMs up...

Anyone on here know what "kicking" the clutch means?

Drifters use clutch kicking to break the tires free and initiate a drift. Many times, they're not even sideways yet. They're still driving straight and the clutch kick breaks traction and starts the drift. That's about it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIGgnBFi8N4

Anyone on here know what "kicking" the clutch means?

You can think I'm lying if you want. I wasn't sure what you meant originally in terms of trying to decrease any lag. This is why I asked you to explain... Because it doesn't make sense to me. and it still doesn't I HAVE tried depressing and releasing the clutch quickly. All it does is free...
