very nice power curve. I like how your tq basically stays the same unitl 5200rmps. Most 7m that i have seen will have a tq jump that quickly falls off. I'm assuming you have 3' dp and exhaust?
it will? I need to jump on that boat then. Stock twins will not safely go above 15 psi and you are lucky to get 350rwhp with them.
I have the orginal n1 dunk with everything else custom made and I think it sounds like crap with my car. But of course the 1j will never sound as nice as the 7m
It is the anticipation we have to sit around waiting for 150mph storms that gets everyone excited. With a tornado or earthquake it just happens and there is not time to complain or freak out. I moved to FL 3 years ago and never thought hurricanes were that big of a deal.....oh well that is...
i was wondering if there is a 12v wire coming off the tach? theres the yellow 7.5amp fused wire that goes into the combo meter...and according to the ewd.... theres a black wire that comes from the tach to the igniter... is that 12v or what?
thanks
I’m not sure I would ever race with my top off. Driving around with the top off there is a noticeable different in the flexibility of the car. It’s actually annoying when going over small bumps or crappy roads.
At work today I parked out in the grass to stay away from the guys painting the...
If you think about it for a second water and electrical stuff really do not go together well. The best way would be to go get some purple cleaner (or i'm sure simple green will work) start in small areas and then use a paint brush to break loose the dirt and grime. Then trickle water in that...
I'm the one who just had my stock flywheel lightened to 11lbs. Its lighter than most you will pay 300 dollars for and stronger than an aluminum one. Oh and it was very inexpensive to have done. I just never got to run the 1j with a stock weight flywheel so I have nothing to compare it to.
the 2j is great and all but it still does not seem to compare with how smooth the 1j rides. I'm thinking about putting a 2j bottom end with my 1j head but i have a feeling i'll be dissapointed with how it feels.
In regards to using a r154 it will still sit in the same stock location, unless the 2j block sits differently than the 1j block. You can use any 7m clutch assembly as long as you are using the r154. Then just get some 4age flywheel bolts.
You have an awesome collection of parts going on. some of the things you have you really do not need to do the swap. Like the power steering line. I just had a custom one made that looks better, takes up less room and cost less. I got away with just using the stock 1j throttle cable but...
