stay away from ebay gaskets! been there done that. my car was n/a at the time and it blew the ebay head gasket. get a quality gasket set and be done the first time.

hey SURUKO, it was teh fuel filter like you told me to try. changed it and it started right up. thanks for your help.

i'm not sure on fuel pressure. i well get a gauge next week to check that. had codes but we fixed all of them... i believe. last tested it before shutting it down for the night. all it did was blink fast. i'll recheck it tomorrow. i determaned the connections by matching colors ond markings...

first, car is a 89. donor car was a 88 "engine and hard parts only" harness, igniter is from a 90 turbo auto and the ECU is from a 91 turbo auto. have the coils and CPS from the 88 in the car. i have done reserch, im'ed a few people from here and read numorous other threads before posting my own...

try eBay, they have good deals from time to time. i haxe 300zx wheels on my car. my self personally i like the way they look. just wish i had the turbo back rims. pics on my profile if you want to see it.

by all means don't sell it. you will kick your self later. i had slight rod knock for three months before i finally finished it off by driving like an ass. so don't beat on it and you may be able to fix it relatively cheap.
