drove around with my targa off today. going to be doing more later :icon_bigg
Targa > Hardtop. I thanks close friends for not letting me think otherwise. SoCal = Best weather for owning a targa!
This thread = FAIL!
lol...just busting your chops Justin. we'll have to chill sometime this week, I want to finish my bumper. Plus, I want to see your dad's supra and show you the new wheels.
I know Joe and Jason goes to Mt. Sac
do you mean scrape? Of course, those HKS DP's are low as shit. you can see it from the side of the car. I always scrape if i don't go slow or diagonally up a driveway or speedbump. btw, i'm only on tokico blues and eibach pro kits.
i bet :naughty:
do you have a picture of the backside of the finished product? (circut board side) want to see if you had to re-wire anything from cutting into it. i know one other person that did.
wow...you got some deep pockets shaeff! Defi gauges are damn expensive!
wow! super nice...i want to do the same, but IMHO, you should've painted the edges of the gauges black to match. i want to replace all the gauges, but prosport doesen't make a fuel gauge, speedo, and the tach they have doesen't light up green. back on topic...nice! i got a couple of questions...
i'll try to make some time to...i've been real busy lately..i just hate how the previous owner ripped off the lower grille....it looks ugly IMHO...but it will all get fixed when i'm done. i gotta finish paying off the tires i bought first. i cut off the nose because i like the open upper grille...
mainly, GRIP. i'm more of a highway driver and i sometimes go for a canyon run. but mainly highway use. i'm happy with it, and have no complaints.
i guess that's the way it is. all 4 tires are 275's, but the rears are Run Flats, the fronts are not. i guess that might explain it. it does look a...
thanks for the comments.
Wiisass, suprabad - i understand that other components directly related to switching to bigger wheels/tires will be worn. hell, probably 3/4 of the MKIII's here probably haven't changed their bushings. I will do so in the future, just gotta get some more cash.
SSS -...
i don't have any problems/complaints w/ the power steering. it feels great. i was discussing it with mister jose valle the other day. he told me to go for 275's all around. so i said screw it, and did it. i trust what he says, and he came through yet again. :)
lol. didn't know anybody ran these wheels. well if it's any consolation, i originally wanted them all silver, but it didn't come in that size. i got too good of a deal to pass up. tires too. i'm running Run Flat's in the rear.
that $100 wasn't even mine. lol. i guess i should've lined up...
knew someone was gonna say something about the universal thing...i'll be getting new lugnuts soon though. more pics later when i shoot to my mother's house. she's got a camera i can use.
originally, i wanted to go with black w/ polished lip, but it was on backorder and would take another 2...
yea, if you have an air compressor that i can borrow, i can finish it up at your house. how bout it?
BTW, the guy that previously owned the bumper cut out the lower grill section, not me. i liked it. but this bumper HAD to go on.
Wheels:
Sportmax 006 Gunmetal w/ Polished Lip 18" x 9.5" +35 offset
Tires:
Fronts: Dunlop Direzza DZ101 275/35-18
Rears: Dunlop SP SPort 01 DSST RunOnFlat 275/35-18
i'm sure it's been done before, but 275's all around = teh shit! they sit flush up against the fender. idk how people can...
don't know if this was said yet, but 935 Motorsports is selling some. Rob made a thread about it.

Do I qualify in having a pre 89 bumper?
This is a project of mine but I haven't finished it yet....but I HAD to put this bumper on...my other one got cracked when i ran through a big ass tree branch that fell in front of my car while i was driving. it also took my left fog light and stock...
