ok the broken english is confusing, you have a 2jz in your car and want to use a 1jz ecu?

i had a brand new radiator on mine (GTE swap) and it cools just fine, i also have the clutch fan and shroud. it could be possible if he has his old radiator still its all gunked up, to which it can be cleaned. did he throw a new thermostat in? might have a BHG too if he didnt put the Gte...

ive done the same thing actually... someone has a car for 15 years and its a wonder if they've ever changed the coolant ;)

is it possible to mix them up? from what i remember there is a hose barb(like) fitting and a high pressure bolt in. for the 1jz there is only 1 belt for it :biglaugh: i hope he installed it!

did you change the headgasket before? if not then it is a good indication that your car has a blown headgasket.

why not just repair the coils with some jbweld? the ones i repaired had big chunks taken out and i built a wall of the jbweld and it works fine.
