I don´t know. It´s just ridiculous. He´s even stating that "Michael Schumacher" knows about (t)his hot car.
Just one more of these wannabes.
EDIT: He states that it´s a "Nippon-Ferrari" :D
give me a second

now it should work
Yeah, but it´s an MK4 - unfortunately it´s worth fixing the MK4 since the price is still high or overrated...
Back to topic: I´d pay $750-1000 bucks if you want to part it out. Fixing the whole would be too pricey IMHO.
Yep, I am. Had the same problem. The starter could be just the "bonus". PITA getting the old one out and a new one in. Instead of getting a new alternator and starter I´d go with a used one since you´re low on cash and spare the money for a complete rebuild in the near future.
Well, as far as I can remember we were talking about streetable pistons. Weight is an issue and I just dont want to risk having a meltdown with my engine... :3d_frown:
Let´s wait and see... Don´t get me wrong but if they are even lighter than JEs I´m sorry but have to say goodbye. It would...
I mixed it up. :icon_conf:
AND AGAIN, judging from the pictures I think it´s a great DDP and a definite GO.
If the DDP is still available in approx. 3 weeks I´m gonna get one for me.
I was about to place an order at MVP. I dropped Dusty a line and he told me that it´s gonna take alot of time... That´s been last year... If I would have had placed an order - Jesus.......... :nono:
I have to admit, this was a mistake. I was thinking about the welding all the time. Nevertheless, I strongly doubt that these won´t fit or badly. Why should someone produce such DDPs w/o proper fitment?
Judging from the pictures it´s great! I was also thinking about getting one of these. The welding seems to be perfect. Can´t tell you, however, if it proves to be heat-resistant.
Thanks fellas!
Well, I´m not sure, yet. Probe pistons seem to be "ok", BUT since there´s nothing of an input from experienced people, I´d like to know if the stock pistons could handle 500RHP?
