I didn't have to fab engine mounts for mine, just 10mm plate with flush welded bolts. But it is a tight fit although I have seen them in your model without going to the extent of doing what I had to do to mine. It's alot of fun to drive, but it was a nightmare to build. Yours is coming up great...
