Engines themself are all compatible, but require the corresponding engine mounts.
86.5-88 body require a 87-88 engine harness and ECU.
90-92 body require a 90-92 engine harness and ECU.
And of course if your using a turbo engine you need the turbo harness/ECU and vice-versa.
As for 89...
Why did you feel the need to bend a brand new oil pump!??
If it were me I would pull the pan and make sure the pump is still good and nothing is cracked or loose. Check your squirters, pump relief, and cooler relief. That's just me though.
It was quite a while ago, but IIRC the rod would hit part of the bracket. I was tuning back then and my maft-pro was showing only about 75% on the tps. So I bought a GTE linkage and it was smack in the middle of the pcv vents. So I finaly just bought the damn valve covers.
I'm sure you can...
You can extend it but you'll never get WOT with a straight peice of rod. And NO it won't bind. Why would you want the GE valve covers, I used them until I went through all that nonsense and fucking around and bought GTE valve cover for my na-T. Is this a "they look cool, or underhood "cleanup""...
Yup I agree, my friend was driving my car and hard right into a gas station put a slight bruise on my fender, kinda upsetting.
OP wht size tires in the front?
Simply set it to "OHMS" and put one end on a known ground,(body/chassis). Put the other end on the wire in question. Should read DN0(Damn near zero). Not to be mistaken with O/L(Out of Limit/Infinite)
