Yes, blades will have that look under the PAINT. I am doing mine now. They are turned on a lathe when manufactured and are very shiney under the paint but no powder coating which was not used 25 yrs ago.
Remove the passenger side lock - look on the side of the cylinder, there will be a code (one letter followed by 4 numbers). Take this code to the dealer.
They can punch a new key for you in less then 5 mins. Cost: about $7 (for the key blank).

The One ton version looks very simmilar but does have a "shorter boom arm"

Yup, it only comes with a new harness. I replaced mine with 5/8" plastic wire
armour. The type that is corragated tube and split along its length and then wraped it with electrical tape. Fit in the same place-----
I believe you can use the auto with a manual but not the manual with the auto. So you should be OK. Some leads are different neutral switch etc.

You can still get them from Toyota. The part # is 67881-14110 (called weatherstrip-backdoor. They are going for around $70-$75. It even comes with glue in the notch so all you do is press it on.
