Check your timing and make sure your TPS(throttle position sensor) is adjusted properly. Also, make sure there isn't vacuum leak with the ISCV(Idle speed control valve).

Check the connection to the distributor (the little plug that connects to it). The wires often corrode and cause a faulty connection. Also check for codes.

Unfortunately there is a little work involved in changing the plugs and wires. You have to take off the intake assembly and throttle body to gain access to the plugs and wires beneath the throttle body as well as the other in the back.
