just curious,have you washed the motor/engine bay recently? it sounds like water in the spark plug holes too.But yeah,check the spark plugs and change the wires if they are suspect,Definately do a compression check

i took out the stock boost gauge and installed the factory volt meter

PLUS venting to atmosphere is bad anyways,there's alot of people who vent right back into the turbo inlet,and those who prefer the woosh sound.

try checking the connection at the sending unit on the drivers side fender. it is to the rear or close to the engine bay firewall next to the cruise control thing. it might be bad,or you might have a vacume leak there.the sender is plainly marked,just look and see

or you could jusd disconnect the switch that you think is causing the problem,and let it sit overnight and see if it still drains the batt.
