First time I heard of a vehicle being referred to a "whip" is on a tv show called "Unique Whips". It had some extra fat dude from NYC or someplace trying to be a big shot by doing custom installs, and basically sucking balls to any person who had it done.

I was thinking about getting a replacement aluminum intercooler,but I am worried that nothing will be available for my 1991 7MGTE with the stock intercooler with all the crazy piping that goes in and out of the same side. Is there an easier way to install one that just goes all the way through...
I'm having the same problem,only I took off the ISV and cleaned it,the car ran fine for a few days,and now it's idling around 500 rpm,I'll check the TPS tomorrow
yup,easiest way to get more psi.you can buy the washers in a kit sold by one of the members mere,or just get 10 flat washers,divde then into 5 per side,super glue them together,(trust me on this)and install them with new bolts.you may want o add more washers depending on where that many washers...
i have the upper set from cooleze from suprasport. it was a direct fit,and looked real nice. if you know someone with a mandrel bender,you can pretty much have one made,if you feel like experimenting!!

ha ha ,beat you to i popped open the hood,took it out,and tested it. it was within workin peramiters. SO i took it apart and cleaned the shit out of it,ALL carbon deposits are gone,(for now) and after installing back in,it idles like new. just had a problem with the stock clamp,it leaked...
