best way to check the ISC valve is to let the car warm up,and turn off the ignition. With the hood up,listen at the ISC valve for a sequence of 4 "ticking" sounds coming from it. That would be the setepper motor in it working properly. If not,time to replace it!

Are you using the sender that came with the motor? If so,i'd swap it out with the one that came on the A spec motor.Might be a bad senspr.

You might get lucky and find one at a junkyard,if it has not been raided already. Once in awhile,you'll see them on eBay going from anywhere from $47 - $160. Currently I am working on a all aluminum replacement that will fit as a direct replacement. Right now the design is for 2 electric fans...

Yeah,on the exhaust. I guess the smog laws might be different here in Cali. I just have the 2 free flow cats flowing through 3 inch pipe exiting through a Magnaflow muff.

Yup,cleaning out your dam fluids and filter is important. My tranny turned to crap because of contaminated fluids. I caught the damage a little too late, and now my over-drive is shot, I've been looking to doing the 5-speed swap,but I like it being an automatic.
