Nope, last time I did any work that would have messed with internals was when I replaced my NON-BHG two years ago. Never had a problem since. I was thinking about doing an engine flush with that Bars Leak or BG stuff. Any idea how that stuff would work?

Little update. I was driving the car and the noise had quieted down considerably after about a week. Remember I said by the time I got it home the first night it was quieter than when it first started. So a week later I drove it to work to let our mechanic listen to it and it was very quiet...

I read in a SCC that the frame for the Pontiac Solstice and Saturn Sky will accept an LS1 (or 6) with ease and a future car powered by a v-8 will be based on these. Pretty sick.

What turbo are you running? I ran a 13.7 @ 105 with a stock ct-26 at 13psi. Street tires. I should think you should be in the 12s easy.

I definatley think in cooler weather and with some sticky tires, 12's are possible.

Yeap, still the stocker, boost was set at 12 psi; now with the IC and pipes its a tad over 15.

Clutch type will play a role in the longevity of the trans too. A sprung disc is easier for the trans to get along with than a solid disc.
