take off the front cover and check the marks on the cam gears..... they should line up with the notches cut into the back plate when the motor is at TDC. basically, there's a notch on the crank pulley, line that up with the 0 on the front cover, and see where those little marks are on the cam...
agreed, Neons are like 7ms if one little thing goes wrong, you're down for a rebuild. Timing belts like to break/jump time for no apparent reason. But hey, we're not the ones that are gonna be driving the thing. Find something 5m powered for the winter, it will never let you down.

as far as weekend car goes..... I'd still have my mkII, since it's not a "real" Supra. :icon_razz
Neat......... Shoulda just got the helo out and shot one of those things from 2f2f into the side of the car... that's what I woulda did..... :icon_conf No need to ruin an Safari because of what he did.....
The last mkIII I had (for about.... 1 month and a half) stranded me..... atleast 3 times, all but one were atleast 45 mins away from home, and were all because of some STUPID little thing... blown fuses or something of the like. The car ran super rich though, so it also had a hard time starting...
