missing gears sounds pretty extreme for an intermittent problem but its doin what your saying its doin. did your friend have that issue all the time? believe it or not but i just went outside to check my clutch and it has no play what so ever lol.

yea i wouldnt call it a grinding noise but somethin like that. i think it sounds more like a bad bearing noise that a scooter or roller skates would have.

i actually had the same issue the op described but it wasnt due to a jdm ops. it was due to the signal wire melting on the header. cut the wire hoping it would drop but it stayed at the top. wired it back up 2 weeks later and no change. fired gauge?

my starting issue is fixed!! due to the cps wiring .... copper showing thanks all. still got a knock sensor code though

ok cool im gonna check the cps wiring. and i painted the block before i dropped it in the car and i painted over the screwholes where the knock sensors go.... could that cause the 52 code to come up because its not grounded or does it not use the ks sensor as a ground
