so i checked my stock clearance and it was intake .152mm or .006mm exhaust was .203mm or .008mm and that was on all of them. i got the HKS cams in and there speced to .006 intake and .008 exhaust. should i really go out and set my exhaust shims to .010? since it worked fine @ .008?

yeah everyones car is different but theres a min and max clearance for the shims duh this is for a 1jz not a 7m.

how far should the intake and exhaust cam be from the shim? thanks. btw im installing HKS 272 cams if it matters.

lol thats because theres a 4 inch down pipe that opens up to nothing but there is a 2.5 inch exhaust that bolts up to the 4 inch dp to keep the car quiet when need be. 1jz t78 and an auto boost logic tranny with a map ecu...... at least i tried to be fast lol. ya i dont like green cars...

i had a greddy rebic lc for my 7m motor, you can find them on ebay every now and then, removed speed, fuel and boost cut.

that would all depend on your injectors and the limits of the turbo, try raising the boost 1psi at a time and see what happens i wouldnt go over 18psi on pump gas and you might have a fuel cut around 14psi. try the search theres a huge thread on the 1g motor some place.
