This another one of those true arguments about Toyota utilizing the damper for a good reason.. this is in regard to pre-PPS racks though.

I was always under the impression that using a spacer any larger than 25mm would exponentially affect the wheel bearings over time.. depending on what condition they're in. Of course, coil-overs and aftermarket wheels affect that too, but perhaps not in such a severe fashion.

Does the damper do all that much? Maybe that's why my car feels semi-sloppy at times..

Even if the car had 100hp, I'd still feel uncomfortable with the stock brakes.

stock twins.. I expect around 450whp @ ~18psi when I go single. my buddy did it with nearly the same mods when he still had his RB25, and I see no reason not to expect very similar results.

agreed^, well on the exhaust and the mods ;). I made 340 @ 16psi with stock head, but everything else outside standalone and injectors has been done. I've always figured 15% drivetrain loss, though 20% is probably more accurate.

well, I'm not really sure how to answer "stages," so.. but I'd recommend going to 440s regardless of what you're doing, as long as you have an AFC or whatever else.

use the USDM 550s from a MKIV and you can reach those numbers.. that's the biggest most do without doing standalone (assuming this is a 1J). any larger than that, I'd likely suggest top feed and standalone.
