Not a Supra, but maybe you guys can help.
Wondering if any of you have some experience with this sort of thing. My car was hit before I bought it, but I really want this huge ugly dent fixed. I don't have it running yet, but once I do I plan to drive it to a few different shops and see what...
You don't say......
Where can I find info on this? Do you just swap the top or do I have to take apart the transmission to change things? It isn't too late for me to bend that metal back!
ME TOO!!! haha
Thanks guys
Still not sure when I go back to work. Not working is rad, but not making money sucks. If I am not working again tomorrow, hopefully I can get more done.
The wiring is actually a little intimidating. Seems fairly straight forward, but if I screw it up, the...
Not too much happened today, but here are a few updates anyway.
Mounted up the ignition coil gismo by using the stock bracket. I used an existing hole and drilled a new one. Easy.
Then I started with the fuse box but I forgot to bring my computer so no FSM. Needless to say I didn't...
Micky: If I where doing a complete tear-down and rebuild of the engine like you, we would be in pretty much the same spot.
Aaron, thanks for the support! Still so much work to do..... but I still like the project!
Yes progress! I have been rather busy with a wedding this weekend. A good family friend got married, and I was an usher along with my two brothers. Great food, and an open bar all weekend. It was a bunch of great people partying in one of the most swank hotels in San Francisco, the Fairmont. We...
Spammers = the new telemarketers.
I got rid of my old "land line" so that I didn't have to get calls from telemarketers anymore. I am not getting rid of my internet, so I am just going to have to figure out how to murder them in the face over the internet.
Stock fuel pressure or above to correct for slight lean condition is best. If you lower the base pressure you effectively lower the flow rate of your injectors. Plus you can hurt atomization if you go too low. The injectors need a certan ammount of pressure to get the right spray pattern.
Well, before I get there I still have to fit the engine WITH the transmission. So thats first. Then I still have the minor issue of the radiator. It was a really tight fit, so I might have to be using a different radaitor and figure out how to mount that up.
As for wiring.....not really. I...
Eh. No updates yet. Hopefully I will get some work done tomorrow. If not, next week will be big time progress because as of right now, I am not working. Its really slow and my boss can't give me any hours. SO summer days for beer and cars.
No kidding? I saw that your bro was up north, but didn't know you where a 'Mur-can. So how is it living over there? Austriala is really serisouly the place I want to visit more than anywhere else in the world.
I can't belive you have a Crown I can't belive you have a Crown I can't belive you have a Crown I can't belive you have a Crown I can't belive you have a Crown OMG I am SO jealous.
You had better be making a build thread! Hopefully I can help out. I have a pretty good head start on you, so...
YOUR CAR IS SO HOT you are so lucky you don't live anywhere near me or I would kill you in your sleep and take it from you.
HellsLegion pretty much has you covered. Your 4M shouldn't have any engine management to speak of, so it should be as straight forward as getting power to the EFI main...
Oh man can you belive it? The 2M was such an ugly lump. The 7M, despite the over-engine intake, has always been one of the coolest looking engines IMO. It remindes me of Toyotas early hot motors, like the 18-RG and the I6 engine that came in the 2000GT. Very pretty engines, not cluttered up with...
