I think that you should rebuild your turbo and fast. a bad turbo can cause white smoke. Thats what happened to me. you dont want your turbo to blow.

The 1jzgte has the same flange as the vvti, just get a jza70 downpipe and twist the flange then weld it back on.

we mounted a 1jzgtevvti on a pre 89 and used a 2jzgtevvti harness and ECU and other stuff, and it works. as for the inside of the car i think that its the same as the 2jzgte
