speaking of stock cams.....I've got a set that were purported to be NA cams. Now, I have no inclination to change my cams, but, I would like to be able to confirm or deny this claim. Is there a way, solely by visual inspection, to determine if a cam or set of cams are from a GE, or a GTE?

Hey, I found this interesting link, they've got application listings for a lot of turbos, thought it might come in handy for some of you guys. They're in Spain, so shipping might be expensive if you want to order anything :-p . But looks like it'd be good for reference purposes. TurboMaster

For these Holset turbos, how is the mounting to the exhaust manifold done? Is a custom manifold required? (for the 7M) What sort of exhaust output do they have, the v-band or can they be had in different types?

Maybe you're not letting it get as empty as the rest? With mine, I generally get about 14.5-15 gallons in it, if I let it go until the little light comes on, it starts to sputter in curves/when I turn/acceleration. Even then, I've never gotten up to 16 gals. in it, but the pump can't reach the...

Double check all of your injector clips and the wires for them. Make sure they're all pushed on all the way, and that none of the wires are loose/broken. Mine was doing exactly the same thing, had an injector clip that wasn't pushed on all the way.HTH

That is what is listed in the online TSRM, but I believe Bishop to be correct; I know #1 & #6 fire together (from the same coil). So I think yours are incorrect.

does it still have the stock bypass valve? if so, iirc, there shouldn't be a hiss coming from it (i've never used the stock bypass, so I'm not entirely sure). It may have a leak........

Thanks for the advice, Bishop. Was going through checking the plugs on my lunch break at work tonite, found the #4 injector clip wasn't pushed on all the way! Problem solved!

mine was doing a similar thing, found the problem this evening -- #4 injector clip wasn't on all the way.

You should try the swap (JDM turbo into an NA),when many of the parts are missing, and the (NA) engine was removed by someone else! With bolts piled in a large bowl! Fun stuff! :(
