I've got Falken's on mine, IIRC 502's (teadwear 300) on front, 512's (treadwear 340) on rear. Can't really say much about the tread wear, as the rears were bought used, and have only put ~1k on them. Have put ~6k on the fronts, the inner edge is worn from bad ball joints & bad driver's shock...

I've not had any problems with mine yet, but it' s just an $8 Wally World special. Not enough power to strip the screws; I have to switch it to manual to tighten them. Although, I wouldn't mind having one of those little rachet thingys, if someone had a spare.......

I used 2 1/4" on the turbo cold exit, 2 1/4" to 2" on the lower pipe to I/C (my lower pipe is 2 1/4", same size as my turbo exit), 2" to 2.5" for I/C to upper pipe. These sizes all fit perfectly on my car; YMMV, as Supras tend to vary a little it seems. I got all my reducers, couplers, & clamps...

according to the TSRM, code 51 could also mean that the A/C system isn't charged/has low charge - have you had it checked lately?

In TN, swapping VIN plates can be done legally, as long as the proper paperwork, etc., it done. It's used mostly when doing a body swap/major repair to a car. Hell, the VIN on my Jeep is mounted to the fold-down, easily removed/damaged winshield frame! So if I ever get around to replacing that...

I didn't see it in your list, Jeff, but didn't the A/C controls change in '89?
