Can it be done? Yes but you need to have it tuned and monitored with a wideband. I plan on doing it with a set of serviced stock 440's, a walbro pump, AFPR, and an upgraded ct26.
Since the motor is basically taken part get a basic stock rebuild. Just get the rods and crank machined polished and check the clearance. If the compression is good just dont stock rebuild... since it will be rebuilt in the future.
