    Different BOV's

Every pro car I've been around runs a BOV. The most common one I've seen is the HKS racing like yourself on them. ...and I do stand corrected on the turbo spinning backwards thing. That's just the way my motor tech described it.

Not bad. I like the angle on the third video.

    Different BOV's

Basically, when the butterfly valve in your throttle body closes, pressure is built up because the turbo is still spinning. This pressure is released via the blow off valve. ...if the valve takes to long to open (due to a number of different reasons, like spring adjustment), that pressure has...

Any oldschool SLR users? (non digital)

I, too, make a living using Photoshop (and Adobe's other products), but it's just not the same. It's like an auto vs. manual transmission. Sometimes you want the, for lack of a better term, more primitive stuff. Quality film photos are much more difficult to achieve, hence my admiration for...

Any oldschool SLR users? (non digital)

Well, if I had the space, I'd have a darkroom, but at the moment I don't.

    MK3 Carbon Fiber Cooling Panel

Well, it depends on the weave and weight of the CF, but it shouldn't cost TOO much. I was given a CF one for a celica once and it wasn't much thicker than a sheet of posterboard. I'm not sure how well it would have worked (don't own a celica), but it was pretty flimsy.

    MK3 Carbon Fiber Cooling Panel

How hard could the panel really be to make? I mean, it's a flat plane (I think) with a bunch of holes in it. Mock it up out of posterboard and make it yourself.

What causes high cooling system pressure?

Did you remove the rivets on the mhg before installing it? (Assuming that it's hks...)

    Boosting my GE

I agree with forcedtorque. Piggyback = not a very good idea. Granted, the learning curve with EMS is HUGE and the cost is much more significant, but I usually find it to be a good idea to over-engineer everything. Just because it's worked in the past doesn't mean it's a good idea. ...annnnnnnd...

They've got balls, but I'd hate to be in one of the cars coming down the mountain.

    my new toy

I never noticed that the hks turbos didn't say "hks" on them until now. Strange. I see it's a .50 a/r in the front. What's the rear? Should spool pretty damn fast compared to mine (gt4088).
