I have seen many cars run "big" power with just regular plumbing clamps.
One of which sports a Garrett GT42R. Also NOT using silicone couplers. No problems.
That won't work, the beam pattern will be messed up.

With my spacer, the nipple on top of the wg hangs as low if not a tiny bit lower than the oil pan.
My downpipe isn't low, it almost rests on the underbody, its a tiny bit lower than the frame rails.
