Get whatcha pay for lol
I remember reading the stock intake flows better than ffim for stock or mildly upgraded cars
If you really want a good ffim get a 2j upper intake manifold
Use lower 7m intake
Cut bottom out of 2j intake and weld together
Would hurt to do a gasket match port and...
Lol yea its a gonner then
Any updates about having a meet?
Also I was right behind a black mk4 today on fishinger road...believe to be a auto
Anybody on here?
that intake does look like you would have to relocate the alt
if you look at my manifold that i posted pics of it curves along the strut tower and around the alt almost making it fit without any other modifications
that intake posted in the for sale section is just a stock 7m intake, flange...
ok then its settled
everyone send a 10 dollar donatation for the jonah supra dyno day charity lol
i guess i should install my ffim 1st and see what the butt dyno says
hoping to do install this weekend
fuel cut is only when the afm send a signal to the ecu telling it the metered air that passed through the afm is to much
so the ecu cuts fuel and i believe does something with timing
^^yea what he said lol
as for me i have the ron r alt relocation bracket
a/c is long gone lol
im thinking about doing a before and after dyno with 6psi boost and 12psi boost to see if theres any changes
im sure boost prolly be seen 100-200rpm sooner ::bhg::
depends on how big the hose is
i found i had a vaccum line popped off yesterday and it didnt make a HUGE difference on performance
if it was the intercooler piping it wouldnt build boost at all
a ripped or dry rotted coupler possibly
i have seen some ffim that only need to drop the alt down a few inches and still keep the a/c compressor in place
there was actually a bracket in the forsale section to drop the alt down a few
checked wastegate hose?
check for codes anyways...hard faults will only turn on light
hows it run on 5psi WOT?
how was your boost regulated? shimmed wastegate? mbc?ebc?
stock turbo?

what throttle body is everybody running with their ffim?
got a pic of how you mounted throttle cable to the throttle body?
is your cable mounted to the intake to hold it in place?
i am unsure of which cable is needed...4cyl or v6
i will be going to a junkyard to get a cable
if i do find 1 i will keep you posted on what it came from
im thinking the 2.2 will work
my 90 celica i swapped to a 3sgte had a long throttle cable...it originally was stuntin a 2.2 5sfe
