so here's my car:
FMIC
2.5" hardpipes
lexus AFM
580 cc PTE injectors
afpr
walbro
3" tanabe
3" BIC DDP
3" test pipe
SAFC
and i'm hitting 15 PSI WITHOUT a boost controller of any sort. How can i lower the boost?? i know the CT isn't all that great with that much pressure.
my bad....i meant to say closed loop and open loop. Closed loop is up to 75% throttle and open loop is 75% +??
so it is useless to make any changes in a closed loop setting since the ECU will just adjust those settings back to where it wants??
So let me get this straight with your help. The ECU controls all fuel maps under 75% throttle thus meaning that any changes to the SAFC at LOW THROTTLE settings are basically useless?? and on the SAFC i should have the low throttle at 74% and high throttle at 75 %??
so if that makes sense...
i have my wideband hooked up and after trying to tune it without any sort of datalogging is difficult. So, i have a PLX m500 and i want to hook it up so that i can datalog my highway pulls.
I have 6 wires. 2 for speed and 4 for analog. Which pinouts do i hook these up to?? for sure 1 speed...
come on guys. He doesn't need a diesel to tow his supra. Our cars are heavy pigs, but not THAT heavy.
IMO all you need is a full size gas powered truck. That way it is still enjoyable when you aren't towing your supra. Plus maintenance and parts are way cheaper on gas vehicles then on diesel.
thanks. I'm sure if the car was tuned and running 100% top notch right now i would be ripping up and down the streets as we speak. I guess it's all the down time and the waiting games that really get to me.

before i go ahead and install my gas tank back in, i'm kind of skeptical about using the butt-connectors they provided. Is there any reason why i SHOULDN'T use solder along with some heat shrink?? will the gasoline in time dissolve the solder???
it's pretty obvious that his bumper is resting on a cement platform. YOu can see where the cement just cuts off which will be the area where his tires are.
yep idle is within specs....
thing that gets to me is that the noise isn't audible at COLD operating temps. However when the engine is warm and all the materials expand that is when the "tick" comes out,
i installed PTE injectors, AFPR, lexus AFM and since then my car has been sounding pretty bad at idle. It seems to only happen when the car is at full operating temp.
The noise is VERY audible from inside the cabin but outside the car you can't hear it at all. The closest thing i can think...
so i installed 580cc injectors, AFPR, lexus AFM and on some occasions i hear a "ticK" sound comming from the top end of the motor. I'm assuming the injectors, but do they really make that much noise??
what is the blue wire, yellow wire, and white wire for?? those are the only hookups not installed for my S-afc. The PDF on apex-i says that the purple wire is for knock, however i don't have a purple wire. IS that the blue wire they speak of??
Also how do i RESET all the settings on the...
went to finish my install today and nothing. So i opened up the actual casing and the plug connector inside the S-AFC was actually half off so of course i was happy and delighted that i found the problem. But when i put it all back together and turned the key to "ON" i still got nothing...
