So, I have a 87-88 gte harness , yellow clips, HAC sensor this will plug in to my post 89 7mgte and that should be all i need for electrical? 1986.5 mkiii manual trans + i have the ECU for the harness

How come the wide mount on the turbo side doesnt line up with the holes on my engine block then? is it the wrong mount?

apparently i need to swap pre 89 sensors on to the post-89 engine idk

My motor mounts arrived today, and the holes on the turbo side of the engine block dont line up I can't figure out what the actual bracket I need is! can anyone shed some light? Do I need new mounting pad (?) also? the thing the bracket sits on inside the engine bay?

i'm at the point where the block is assembled but i need to start putting on all the parts, hoses, wires but the engine is basically bare, still need 2 attach transmission and prepare my engine bay, someone said i need some new sensors which i have no idea about. just taking it one step at...

I hope I didnt damage the pipe/flange in my initial attempts to remove the nut. Its a really minor dent/scratch, think it should be ok? A new pipe is like 370 bucks...

my email wasn't working yesterday, couldn't upload my pics here's how i got the studs out without doing any damage to the engine first, i went out and bought a footlong. not the sandwich... a footlong 1/8inch drill bit ! -i couldnt get clearance for my drill, because of the oil return pipe/oil...

problem solved, new studs, nuts, and gasket on the way

can you possibly point me in the direction of the 8x 1.25 nuts that are used on this engine? I will need to purchase some as soon as possible. Thanks I will also likely need new studs to replace the stripped ones.. anyone know where I can find those?
