So basically I realized with my new turbo setup that running the timing at 0 DEG my car is weaker in the low rpms and less responcive but when the turbo comes on the car pulls alot harder. At 10 deg the engine power is great but the boost does not pull the car as hard. Whats up with this? what...
This is on the fuel rail it appears to be something like a second FPR? It had a green cap on it and there was a small screw inside that seemed to adjust it? the screw fell out and I dont know what the part does or if the screw was some adjustment? Anyone care to explain??? THX! - Eric
Okay when I was running the stock turbo I could rev it up and the dump off would be REALLY loud and driving it would be really loud when I let off (stock turbo with BC at like 15 PSI). I just got a new setup with different exhaust manifold, T66 turbo and 50MM wastegate. For some odd reason now...

tord the bottom where it gives you a print out of the wire connectors where it says "actual photo goes here" it shows to connect the IGN wire to the 3rd slot to the left on the medium sized connector (black wire). In the photo however it shows to...
I have a green wire with red stripe and its just hanging coming out of the airflow meter connector harness area, when I ground it with the ignition on it makes a click sound what is it and does it need to be grounded?
Just did a motor swap and turbo upgrade, have MAFT but not installed yet just running 550's and lex to test it out. The car wont idle, its okay one minute then its sputting the next. When you let off and it sputters it seems to be running very rich there is some smoke out the exhaust that burns...
im getting smoke out the exhaust and possibly oil, It seems to happen when I get off the gas. The turbo elbow does not have oil in it. I have a new aftermarket turbo and JDM motor. I cant tell what color the smoke is but it smells like oil and burns my eyes lol. Where could it come from?
Okay basically I had a HUGE oil pressure problem and I was running 85+ PSI I thought it was because I shimmed the oil pump 8 mm but now I think thats not what the problem was, I think I just found it. I am doing a NA-T in a turbo car so I have a NA block and I was using the turbo oil...
How difficult is it to unbolt the crossmemeber and take out all the ps and such to get to the oil pan? Would it be just as easy to unbolt the motor mounts and tranny and lift the engine up? (have done it before so im quick) Also one more thing, if I were to switch my shocks out for new TEMS, if...
On the turbo block the line running from the top of the oil filter adaptor is the main? And the oil line taped into the oil pan is a return? Thats how I have it hooked up but I think its backwards because I ran 60 PSI and it blew apart =( is the top a return and the line out of the pan a main?
Got my new motor in and its getting spark but no fuel. I put a walbro 225 pump in during the install of the new motor but I hear the pump running but its not putting any fuel to the rail, I have a decent amount of gas in the tank I dont get it, the pump is running but no fuel... I cranked it...
I need to relocate my power steering resivior. Does it have to be above the height of the pump to gravity feed or can it suck it in if I mount it level with the box?
When I put the motor and everything back together it got me thinking about the tranny connectors.. There are 2 and I think one has like 2 wires and one has 3, what the heck do they do? I know one would be the reverse lights but what about the other ones!??
Basically I removed the cc unit and under it was all this junk. There is 2 units of some sort and a vacume tree. I think one wento the back of the intake vacume but I got them tangled up when I took out the cc. What do they do and is one of the lines on the tree suppose to goto the manifold...
Why is the Cressida rated at 190 HP and the Supra 200 HP ?
If they are the same exact motor somethings gotta be different here, you dont loose 10 HP and 8 ft-lbs just because the motor is in a different body. What is the difference?
My friend pointed out there is play in my new motor between the con rod and the crank. Its a low miles motor, I took a short clip of the play, is it normal? It kinda sounds like rod knock but I havent fired it up yet, tell me wut u think, heres the vid THX

Okay heres the deal I have a 88 turbo, im putting a low milage NA-T motor in. I switched everything over to this motor intake manifold, dis everything. The oil pan is still from a NA because my turbo oil pan wouldent fit the oil pump pickup position. I am using my turbo motor mounts too. You...
What do the 2 vacume lines going to the PS pump do? Its a black connector on the top side of the PS pump with 2 vacume plug-ins. Whats the purpose? THX - Eric
Just got a "low milage" 7M motor, anyway I took off the oil pan and took out the spark plugs and noticed the pistons were dirty, they have black carbon or somethin on them and I was thinking if I could maybe spay brake parts cleaner in the top so that it would liqufy the black residue and then I...
