Ok, from now on I will take pics of parts for sale sitting on my toilet.
I'll have a bar of soap in the pic so you know everything is sanitary.
Better? :)
It's just impossible. They can't be the same.
Only way to affect displacement is bore X stroke X # of cylinders.
1J stroke is 71.5mm. 2J stroke is 86mm. We know these for fact.
I don't know what crack Orin was smoking, but I'm sure it's illegal in 50 states.
No way man... Impossible.
As far as the stroked 1JZ. I would do it. I like my Blitz twins but a little extra kick a little earlier in the RPM never hurt anybody. Not sure if you've driven your car yet with the K26s.
Yes. Pretty sure... The motor mounts for the 7M changed in late 89. I assume the switch is the same time as the switch from 7M to 1JZ engine in Japan, so we naturally got the JZ compatible crossmember/engine mounts just with 7Ms. 1JZ and 2JZ will drop into the crossmember of an 89.5+ Supra...
I went to autozone and picked up a automatic transmission cooler. T'd it into the return line and mounted it behind the driver side foglight area.
It's 3 or 4 rows.
