    Is it very safe to say that by increasing your pump presure you help increase bearing life? Have any of you guys who had a proper rebuild stock or forged have bearing failure again? Considering the fact that you proably maintained your car.

    What is the difference between the two motors besides the pistons and the fact that one has a turbo. If I took 2jge block and crank and put 2jzgte pistons and rods in it would it be the same motor.

    you have a lot of good points S.C. This is something that I asked my self. But at the same token I have driven a couple of fast cars. I have seen alot of guys too who had high power cars and still could'nt turn good times in the 1/4 mile.

    so to twist the topic a little bit I see that on paper the two j series motors make the same hp but the torque is what sets them apart. Has anybody every witness these to motors neck to neck. Would you like to spread some knowledge?

    YOU know for a couple of days I have been debating what to do. And you know what a rb26 is only a 2.6L , I have seen them make well over 1000hp built. I know they have stroker kits but it doesnt take it to a 3.0L.
