I figured he wasnt throwing any codes but you can still have codes present without the C.E.L. on..... With a little common sense he would of thought to figure out why the check engine light is on

Umm start with the basics fuel and spark .....1) fuel pressure 2) are coils sending spark to all plugs just start the car and pull 1 plug at a time and see if you are getting a strong spark

Sounds you need a new tuner ....... set it 10 degrees and the ECU does the rest. He should be tuning with the fuel pressure first then make adjustments with the piggyback (the map ECU)

The widebad tells you everything you need to know .... I say try it. I peak at 15psi on the stock 440's and lex afm if i had some more fuel pressure that would be sweat.... Right now I am adding 10-13% of fuel at WOT...
You can hook it up in any where as along you as you tap/slice into the signal wire ...... The only difference is the legnth of wire you will need to run.
You could tap it at the ecu or as far as the diagnostic box near the battery......

They arent usless i had my autometer narrow band plug up with my AEM wideband and they were actually reading damn close in terms of wide open throttle... They were both in the same area of "richness" ... But of course the wideband givens you an exact numeric value and the narrow band doesn't but...
I will add that i have compressor surge at low boost with the HKS .... i put my a bosh with the HKS and now I dont have compressor surge at low boost. I dont think I should have to do that.
Has anyone with an older HKS with the adjustment screw been able to eliminate compressor surge?
