I'm a Firefighter/EMT and our ambulance has a Panasonic Toughbook in it. It has internet and a GPS program and both work great. The problem is the Toughbook itself. When it gets booted up the "Panasonic" screen comes on(with the "press F2 for set-up" or whatever) and then the screen goes blank...

I don't think either has a great venue. Ft. Meade is pretty close to Baltimore/DC. I would say there are more in that area than in VA.

Werd. Luckily my schedule allows me to have a second job, so I'm currently looking for another second job as my old, seasonal one (golf course maintenance) isn't going to hire me back this spring.

Thats a pretty nice schedule! I work 24 hours on duty/48 hours off and every 6th shift I get off, so every 3rd week I get 5 days off in a row. Pretty nice.

Professional Firefighter, need one more class and some driver training until I can be an engine driver. Working hard every 3rd day. Getting married 8-8-09 to my girlfriend of 5 years and couldn't be happier.
