    Ready to call it quits...

:nono: Chances are, if you can't afford to have your Supra fixed you probably couldn't afford to get your Honda/S10 fixed either. I'm living off of $25/wk-ish and I still have 2 Supras and 2 Z's and my Cressida. And technically I couldn't afford to fix anything if it broke down. I got...

CT-26 Rebuild by MDC -Who's Done it?

Thought you were talking about an MDC rebuild I was gonna call BS, I've seen the guy actually working and there aint no way he would let something that wasn't perfect be shipped out to anyone. Hell, he even took extra time to make sure his shim kits weren't scuffed up or anything stupid like...

    Ready to call it quits...

No offense, but how would someone, like myself, who has stated MANY times that I don't know shit discourage someone from doing something? And for those of us who live 30+ mins from somewhere that may, or may not, have these kinds of services I don't really see this as a luxury that I would want...

    Ready to call it quits...

Huh.... I figured it just showed that there was metal in there... So, now I'm curious. Would this be something that would be recommended after say... installing a JDM engine? Or putting rods/mains in?

    Ready to call it quits...

Will getting your oil tested fix the problem? No... Not that it's a bad idea or anything, but if the engine is gonna need pulled to fix whatever is wrong, why not just pull it and have a quick look-see? It's not like pulling engines is super tough, sure if it's your DD, do the oil test thing...

    Ready to call it quits...

psshhh... Hunter Toyota sez: "That aint no rod knock" Hunter Ford released a statement later saying: "Nah, sounds like a lifter went flat" Good news, and we sorted everything else out. All in all, I'd say we made a lot of progress/whatever. As long as it made it home, anyway.

    no power steering please help

Uhh... when I changed my rack I left the car jacked up, filled the resevoir up, turned it back and forth (all the way left, all the way right) until the whining stopped, checked the fluid, took it off the stands and was on my way. No problems after that.
