thanks for the help guys, i figured "mass" either meant +12v or ground. figgie, i was just using the defogger as an example, because it was the closest to the top that used the term mass. i have replaced my whole engine harness, and the M1, B1, and B2 plug all came out along with the ECU plugs.
hey everyone, im wiring in my new ECU (megasquirt) and i need some clarification about what some stuff means.
in the following i am referring to here: http://www.supras.nl/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=34&Itemid=50
if you look at the defogger relay (M1 pin 11) it says signal is...
i know, B1 does look like the top 89, but why is the 90t different? isnt the big square gray plug the body plug? i thought all 89+gray plug ECUs were supposed to have the same body harness?
also, if the wire colors are the same on both plugs, do you think the wires go to the same place?
hey, i asked this a little bit ago on here, but still could never find an answer. hopefully this post will make a little more sense.
im making a new harness for my ecu, and i need to know what 2 of them do, hopefully more specifically, what each wire does.
bonus question: i have a 89 NA...
Clip: anything helps at this point, if you feel like you want to scan some pages, that would be awesome.
group a supra: when i get home tonight, i will take some better, not fuzzy, closer up pictures.
thanks guys
does anyone have one or know where i can find one? im making my own harness for my standalone, and would like to know what the 3 other plugs go to (not the 3 ecu plugs)
any help is appreciated.
thanks

p.s. sorry for the huge pics
oh, sorry guys for not saying what fixed it. it was in fact the pcv system and catch can routed wrong :slap: so i put the stock hoses back in. the engine has now had a runtime of about 45 minutes, and there is still a little smoke. the gaps on the rings are set pretty damn close too.
edit...
well i have fixed the white smoke, but now there is a little bit of blue (oil) smoke coming out. as far as i have noticed so far, its only been at idle or if i rev it up a little, but not while driving it. what could this be from?
dino oil, as it is on a fresh rebuild
ive been reading on the forums all morning, could tons of white smoke have to do with the catch can? right now i have both valve covers routed into the catch can, could that create that much white smoke somehow?
oh yes, sorry, i totally meant to mention that in my first post, but the front plate was machined with the block. does putting a load on the engine help get rid of this smoke?
well i just got done doing a rebuild after i got a bhg a month ago. after replacing all the bearings and gaskets, i put in a set of full ic hardpipes. last of all, i had the head and block hot tanked, both surfaces machined for a MHG. slapped an HKS 1.2mm MHG on and torqued it down to 90 ft/lbs...
