Thats right, I need to see where you guys who have done a battery relocation and still need to be drag srip legal have mounted your external cut off switch.
Also what brand/style of switch did you use?
I have been thinking of going behind the license plate but I need some ideas.

You can only run speed density with the MAFT Pro. The regular MAFT unit only lets you run a GM MAF (mass air flow sensor). The MAFT takes the signal from a MAF sensor and translates it to a signal usable by the Toyota ECU.
Speed density based air measurment utilizes a MAP sensor (or...
Hi guys, I have C's short throw shifter and it has a lot of slop in in it. I bought the car with the shifter installed so i dont know what parts are supposed to be there. The ball moves up and down and left and right a good amount. I have been reading that there is a green bushing that gets...
okay cool, thats what I thought. I just needed to confirm with someone else. I got the timing monitor up and running though and I must say that is pretty cool to be able to watch & log!
I agree with you on the timing, I think I will wait to get the 8 pin plug until the software becomes...
Yea i realize the firmware part is out and I know i need to add the three wires, thats the easy part, i guess was just thinking there was going to be a new tuner pro xdf file to make full use of it, it was this that made me think so from post #711 of this thread:
so can the timing control...
Another Maft pro success...
I just got my car up and running tonight running speed density with a q45 TB and 550cc injectors. I set up the maft pro according to the supra quick setup and it started up and idled first crank and I even went for a test drive around the block on the basic...
I am installing a remote oil filter and cooler, and I bought a permacool oil thermostat. But looking at it, it just doesn't seem to me that it will do much of anything.
What I mean is, when the t-stat is cold and "closed" the valve inside should block oil from circulating through the...
I was about to post about this same topic. I noticed that on the Q45 TB, the two lines go through a chamber that looks to me like a thermostatic acuator to increase the throttle angle when the engine is cold.
On our cars the coolant lines just go through the TB and ISC to heat them up...
I had great success with the MAFT. With 550's my fuel cut was over 20psi, I never got there. Are you running in blow through or suck through?
I ran mine in blow through mode, dont know if that makes any difference. I was also using an aeromotive FPR, and higher than stock base FP...
Sounds like you have excessive Toe-out, that is your front wheels are both "pointing out" instead of strait. That will cause "darty" steering. First things first, get your alignment checked.
New hose. I just used regular oil proof hose that fits the resivoir fittings and hose clamped it on. I tied it to the AC lines that run on the frame rail.
