hmm, well the muffler I took off originally did it, but it was a twin tip, but I think it was factory.. there is no sheilding left in my exhaust system.. it could be a rubber mount but i dont think it is, i've been under there many times and haven't seen any missing... maybe I'll try a single...
I have a blank key for a mk4 supra sittin here that looks pretty cool, do you think I would be able to get it cut for my mk3? they keys look fairly similar, but the mk4 key has a slit going down the side (shouldn't make a difference when cut...)
Well I could do that... but I'm planning on making this build a long process... I don't have the money to go out and buy a car that has it already done (nor do I want to since I want to learn how to do it all)... I appreciate the imput, and it would probably be a wiser way to go, but I have...
Well when I first bought my supra I noticed the exhaust was kind of raspy/rattling.. so a while goes by and I pick up a new muffler to replace the old one that was in pretty bad shape, get it installed. The sound is still the same.. so I figure it's the resonator (I don't have any cats), so I...
hehe, I'm getting my car repainted in the same colour.. bring it back to life and fix the little things wrong :)
So I might polish some sawblades or I might paint them
hmm shipping wouldnt be too bad, as long as your not shipping entire seats.. if they are just the covers you can install yourself then that would be easy to do.. if you and your dad could make the seat cover themselves and then ship them out to people that would be awesome! (i'm talkin like how...
I thought the sawblade design was used to cool the brakes.. then again designating a left and right rim means that the pattern faces the right way.
I'm going to get some 17x8/17x9.5 and just use my beater sawblades as winter rims...
so I'll clear it all up when the snow comes and I throw...
alright so I can get a jdm 7m-gte shipped to my door for $1300 taxes in... that's pretty damn good... then I'll run it stock for a bit, then start upgrading stuff.. I'll get everything machined before the swap, check all the clearnences... do the mhg.. then when I do the swap start off with...
So what kind of power would I make with this setup...
JDM 7M-GTE with all gaskets and seals replaced
Rebuilt Head w/ stiffer springs
Stock crankshaft
Crower Forged Pistons & crower steel billet rods
All ARP Hardware
HKS Metal HG
MAFT Pro
Greddy 550cc injectors
SX Adjustable Fuel...
just curious.. I see that my rims are mounted on the wrong side. So the pattern is reversed... is it hurting anything other than appearance having them this way?
