The cps can keep your car from doing a lot of things. Do any of the connections look brittle or worn? Be sure that the wire is secured in the clips well.

GM had a number of decent incline 6's in their yesteryears. 235 or a 292 I6 would be great for an old school type feel. My next thought would be toyota's I6 offerings

Well I think we can relate. I have a 2nd gen camaro with a very well designed 406 sbc. I love that car but the supra does something for me that my camaro just can't. Not to sure what that is. I guess that's' comparing apples and oranges haha. Anyway, welcome to the forum.
