Just finished building my car so I haven't has a chance to test it yet. However, we built my brothers car and it is seeing 28-29.6 mpg on the open highway. In city it is 17-18 mpg. His car is an 87 Turbo 5 speed
For some reason, there was an extinguisher tucked in a tool bag when I bought my car. Needless to say it was better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it.
Ok, Mine are 225's as well. From what you have said I think they will suffice for a light track day or two. Do you think you would buy another set in the future (wider possibly)?
I know when I checked my compression it was holding 159-162 psi in all cylinders. I tested 3 times with the same results. This was done 1 year or so after the rebuild was completed.
Sure does look cozzy in there. What brand of wideband are you running btw? If it's AEM, have you seen any issues with mounting it that close to the turbo?
^this
It may make horsepower cheaply but not for long guaranteed. Personally I would stick with a ct-26 if possibe and maybe upgrade it until I am ready to move up to a really good t4 unit.
I'm currently doing an intership in LaFayette Ga (a bit north of Atlanta) if you need a hand. I've notices there are a bunch of hicks around that love to pretend they know what they are doing and jerryrig the crap out of everything they touch.
