I guess that's why judging hp "by the seat of your pants" is never a good judge of power. The chassis of these cars are very unassuming so it's like you are desensitized to much of the drama you would feel from other vehicles.
Update, finally drove my 89 Turbo last night. My car had a little over a 1/4 tank and I put 11.475 gallons of 93 octane in it (total: $40.97). The gauges was showing 1 or 2 notches below full. On a 272 mile (437.7 km) trip, it burned a bit over half a tank. Result was 31-32 mpg. My city/hwy...
Oh yeah I follow you now. I misunderstood the first pass through :p. To be honest I see the average prices of these cars going up every year seems like. As long as most people start building their cars right and making them presentable we will see an upward trend in the future.
Actually, 25 years would put the 69 camaro at 1994 and it was a most definitely a fuck huge deal by then (especially the 69 z/28 dz302 car). As a matter of fact early second gen camaros (70-73) were quite a bit desirable.
