That MKIV sounds like a horrible deal. You'd be better off buying a clean title SC300 for half the price and half the mileage. Also, for $4500 a MA70 better have a stockish 1JZ-GTE or a rebuilt 7M-GTE in it. Fair asking price for that N/A '88 with 200k ODO would probably be $2500 at best.

Hell yea, I'd do a burgundy respray and call it a day. Having to paint the engine bay, trunk, and door jams sucks in my opinion.

Yeah, if you Google Deals Gap you'll see a lot of accidents. My original point was though, if a stock radiator and clutch fan setup can stay cool after a flogging on Deals Gap it can't be all bad.
