you can use the radiator trans cooler with an after market trans cooler to help warm it up
doesnt take a huge P/S cooler (i spent 15-25$) mounted it in front
the 2jz's have the coolant cooled oil filter setup nothing else hehe
i definitely got more than 15mpg... any way you can record the sound? did you check your coils to make sure they are not cracked or damaged? (remove the rubber boot on them) is there a lack of power or anything like that?
i hope not.. the feed goes straight from the fuel pump and the return goes straight to the tank... low pressure = return, high pressure = feed.
it took a bit of cranking for me to get it started the first time but double check timing and your spark if it doesnt
there is only 1 throttle cable on the manual car and its the same as the auto one. the auto has two throttle cables (one from your foot and one from the transmission) and thats what i think he is talking about. you wont need that extra long cable and the manual transmissions do not use it :)
yeah it is. i think its a good idea to upgrade it - debris and heat are the #1 killers of your P/S system. and it doesn't have to be hard driving (the p/S "coolers" we have are puny compared to modern cars) so it can just be a really hot day and a longer drive than normal and it could be bad...
filter yes.. just get the 7mgte auto trans filter.. ive used silicone, cork, and rubber gaskets for the pan they all work. be sure to clean the pan when you take it off.
