i havne't rebuilt a 7MGE yet, but have done many performance chevy and ford V8s (built one for a 'maro that ran 8.7 in the 1/4... if i'm building for general driving at least 500mile break in, not to hard of driving, slowly running it harder and harder till you hit the 500 miles... mild...

3 weeks after i got it up and running, bought it for $500, car was in good shape with a bad engine, bought a junk yard engine, droped it in, and then this...but the celica i rear ended didn't fare so well LOL...had the car about 3 years now, and have driven it for about a year total and put 27k...

well i'm putting almost 3000 miles a month on mine because i drive so far to work every day, thats why i'm not doing any speed mods, just wanting to do handling mods....already have a car that is putting almost 400HP to the wheels and gets 8mpg, don't need another one....

we deal with ice all the time here, nothing odd for it to start out the day bright and sunny and no snow for a week or 2, then get an unpredicted storm off of lake michigan... as for racing on ice, doing it on 4 wheels is safe, if you aren't stupid while doing it, doing it on a flat track...
