I've driven one before, they are "torqey" but a stock one or lightly modded one couldn't beat me, and that's just going by the feel of both cars alone.

No feel, torque wrench FTW. The exhaust studs in the head are notorious for stripping and causing bad exhaust leaks. Drifmotion sells a kit to fix it, or you could DIY and stay metric ;).

Don't use a JDM oil pressure sensor unless you want to start frying stuff.

I think that has a lot more to do with running a thicker oil than you would ever possibly need in a 7M versus filling it one quart over full. Maybe you should browse jdub's SME section? ;)

It would probably too much hasle to make it fit decently Doward, but someone's got to do it! But for the price, it would be up to you to decide if it's worth the time and effort to customize it to make it fit, or just fork out a little extra for a drop in replacement with a good reputation. ;)

If you get eagles, go the extra step and have them balanced and checked. Doward got his in and can't remember the size of the ARP bolts in it, but he can chime in with that info. I can't remember if eagle first started releasing the rods with a smaller ARP bolt, then upgraded, or what, but the...

Based on what's at their website, it's impossible to tell really, as they are identical in every way visually to the real thing, they even have "made in USA" engraved on them :3d_frown:. The only sure way to tell would be to test them to see how much the flow at a specific voltage level...

Auto's are hella easy to upgrade as it's so much easier to find a tranny shop to work on auto vs. manuals, at least around here anyways...

Like I said, A LOT ;). It would really be a waste of money to go anything over 1.5 quarts extra, unless you were running two extra large oil filters with a big ass oil cooler.

You'd be perfectly fine with 1.5 quarts over full. How far over full can you go before it becomes an issue with the crank dipping into the oil, causing PCV problems, etc.? A Lot.

I don't think it's Porsche's goal to worry about bang for buck like a lot of the plastic american cars are ;).
