LOL, I totally understand that! I've got a lot of plans for the Supra, but very short on cash right now; so I just have to tackle things in the order of importance.
I do know that going from N/A to turbo, I'll need extra gauges like boost and such; so those are bumped up on the priority list...
^^^ They look interesting, and I still like the idea better of having one multipurpose gauge; rather then having one gauge for every reading I need.
Do you have any pics of your gauges mounted and installed?
That's almost what I was thinking. I love the prosport gauges, but was wondering if it'd be better to have three gauges on the A-pillar; or spend the extra $$$ to have just one gauge display the same information in just one gauge right in front of me.
So far, I'm leaning to the prosport; but...
I'm upgrading from GE to GTE within the next few weeks, and I'm planning on adding extra gauges like boost, pyro, and air/fuel.
My original plan was to add these three gauges in an A-pillar pod, but then my dad told me about gauges made by PLX Devices. The gauges are multi-functional OLED...
If it will fit in a UPSP Priority Mail Flat Rate shipping box, then it only costs $8.95 to ship anything that weighs up to 70 pounds. (Within the 48 states).
A while ago, I seen a FAQ or a sticky about what all it takes to upgrade from a 7m-ge to a 7m-gte; and now I can't find that information. I've searched on here and on supraforums.com, and I know that this has been discussed many times; but now I'm having a brain fart, and can't find the thread...
It could either be the leaking front cover plate, valve cover gaskets, or the head cover gasket.
Here's a link for checking replacing/trashing the head cover gasket.
I wouldn't pay the full purchase price, but I would put a deposit down, and then pay the remainder when the parts are finalized and ready to ship. I'm sure there's others who would also put down a deposit to show that they're serious about purchasing these if ES produces them.
I'll bet that...
I really hope that we can come through with a car for them. (They could use mine, but it's not running or practical to try to drag it from Michigan). Would additional emails help at this point, or is it best to wait until you can speak with Mike when he gets back into town?
If or when these...
I'm not that brave.....but in the end it's just a car. I'll let my family and close (trusted) friends drive my car, but there's no way I'd ever let a stranger behind the wheel.
Well put.
It simply could be a pinhole in the coolant tube right by the head, or a leaking head gasket. I couldn't imagine selling the car for something that would be a relativity easy fix.
I'd say paint your current car. It's only $1800 additional for the color change over the price of the paint job.
If you bought that other car for $1500, then you'd still have to swap everything you want from your current car over to that car you just bought. We're talking about a difference...
