youll need a complete 7mgte motor, harness for the yr motor, ecu for the yr motor, a 7mge oil pan, if auto i would get a a340e out of a turbo supra(n/a trans have 1 less clutch)
use the search button over and over again
no problem
as far as clifford i dont know much about them
however you may need to bypass the stock alarm...i dont have my door lock's hooked up yet
kinda debating if i would rather someone open my door and alarm go off or bust my window then alarm go off lol
and do as hvyman said...splice...
1st of all Poodles is right 77k miles doesnt mean anything, rubber rots and hardens over time(which means a blown coolant line and then warped head)
i bought my 91 with 76k miles and garage kept. i replaced all common maintenance items before the jump into more power(fluids, belts, spark plugs...
thats awesome
i got lucky as F
mine sat in a garage for 6-8 years then the remainder outside
interior is mint except front seats are hard(but not cracked....YET) and dash has a Y crack lol
completely 100% rust free...yup not a lick anywhere lol
fixed
and no...im sure most of the supras wont make the long drive :)
what you should do is bring the michigan supra meet down to a ohio and we shall call it the MICHIGANHIO supra meet
i ran my 87 turbo with no shroud for 8 months through spring and summer
never overheated
i dont like the idea of the electric fans...especually since our cars are prone to overheating
my thoughts are how would you know if your electric fan goes out...cruising along and that minute you dont...
update over fathers day weekend:
fabricated a adaptor plate to mate my blitz bov to a ebay rs flange
used some pipes and couplers i had laying around to install it
i still need to remove the afm and order a hks filter
MAFT pro resting place
for shits and giggles here...
Ct26 used a 2.25 coupler
All piping connections are 2.25 except throttle body
I believe it a 2.5
Don't buy the cheap 5 dollar ebay couplers ...they rip easily and don't do well with heat and a little oil
A nice 5 ply coupler will last a god while and from my experience hold up well with under...
Decided to do a small pull in 3rd gear today
only mods are boost set to 14, 3in downpipe, walbro 255 and tuned on maft pro(well moderate tune)...still has a stock cat and stock cat back exhaust
Sorry for the video being upside down but it makes it interesting lol
remove head and send to a well known machine shop
have them check for cracks and warpage
more then likely they're going to say you'll need a valve job
have it done and make sure they replace your valve seals
FYI every lifter cup you remove needs to go back into the same place it was pulled...
You know your a 7m owner when you keep a spare headgasket on your night stand
You know your a 7m owner when you drive around in the summer with heat blowing on high with the windows down
You know your a 2j owner when your hitting 1000hp on the dyno but still get beat by a 7m in the 1/4 mile
