My cars are in the garage, with another car parked outside that they would have to take before they could get either one of them out. But I'm not really worried about it, as nothing has ever happened on my street, or really anywhere around my street that I'm aware of, just another suburbia in TX...
Truf. San Jose is where the real OG's live (or are born). Kyle needs to move. I can't wait to send the bbs' out for powdercoating and get them mounted up when the car gets out of the body shop... then I can stand and laugh about everything I did to get them home.
Gayyyy... I was under the impression that there would some form of pressure going through said 2j car, which would be sleeping inside of mk3. I'm flying to San Jose in a couple weeks, for a longer period of time. We all need to get food and you need to stay longer than 20 seconds this time!
Haha really? Shoot me a pm with info, I like to track those whores that once called themselves my wheels... they've been on a ton of different forum members cars (5 so far + whoever you sold them to).
I voted polished, good work. I still think my wheels looked better on there though.
But I can understand that they are heavy and you can use all the weight savings you can when you have that monster under the hood. :biglaugh:
Its very rare that the company will pay for you to ship their product back to them, the only time I've made sure I got paid for the shipment is when I got a cf hood that didn't fit worth a damn and didn't even have some necessary holes drilled in it to go on the car. I wasn't going to pay to...
Yes, the car I'm talking about is not the one in my signature. I'm thinking about a vpc now also, it was recommended by christian (king of mk3's around here, supraguy88t on the forums) I'm going to talk with him more and see what I end up going with, as he will be the one doing the work to it...
I had brembo's on my old car, they worked very well.
I opted for the drilled only, as the slotted will really eat your pads and won't help that much unless you're constantly getting on the brakes (road course, auto x)
Check my post in your thread, I'm going AEM in the other car. Looking to buy one in the near future, though it is definitely overkill for this car. Its for the other one, I told you what all I'm looking for in the AEM thread in your section.
Jon
I'm scared of spending that much money on my daily when there is my other car in the garage that is so patiently waiting for me. I do not mind spending the money if I'm sure I'm going to get what I'm looking for, but I have to take into account that every dollar I spend on this car puts me...
Yes, but I'd like to throw in some higher octane once or twice and see how she does on 20psi or so, lex afm can't handle that much boost.
That $700 screwdriver won't help me if I'm stuck in the middle of nowhere, completely missing a clamp, with everything too hot to touch, and a car with a...
Well right now I have the oldschool maft setup (came with the car), that runs like crap and appears to be wired in by 2 year olds. Its really effing up my car in many ways, no boosting over 10psi, horrible gas mileage, overall runs like crap. I previously had the car on the dyno for a long time...
