check and make sure you didnt damage the o ring when installing, my buddy added a ton of silicone to these areas just to make sure they didnt leak... been ok for a couple of years now

you could always pull off the driveshaft and take off the rear mount bolts from the transmission and tilt the engine back (and if your car is old enough the motor mounts as ell) =) thats more of the way i take off the bellhousing too
